The ICAI CA Foundation Result 2026 for the September examination is likely to be declared by the evening of Friday, November 6, 2026. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India announced the expected date on November 1, giving candidates a clearer timeline after weeks of waiting.

For students who appeared in the September 2, 5, 7 and 9 examinations, the announcement marks an important stage in their chartered accountancy journey. However, ICAI has not confirmed an exact release time, and candidates should not mistake the expected date for a guarantee.

ICAI CA Foundation Result 2026: What the Official Notice Says

According to ICAI's official announcement dated November 1, the Foundation examination results are likely to be declared by the evening of November 6. The wording matters. The ICAI CA Foundation Result date is tentative, with no specific hour mentioned. As of November 2, the official results portal displays the September Intermediate examination results but has not yet published the Foundation scores.

Students awaiting the ICAI CA Foundation Result 2026 should therefore rely on official announcements rather than social media posts claiming that scores are already available.

Where and How to Check the September Result

ICAI has designated caresults.icai.org as the result portal. Candidates will need their registration number and roll number to access their scores. Once results are released, visit caresults.icai.org, select the September 2026 CA Foundation result link, enter the required credentials and submit the details. The scorecard should then appear on the screen, allowing candidates to download or print a copy. Students should verify their personal details, marks and qualifying status. If caresults.icai.org experiences heavy traffic, they can try again rather than relying on unofficial websites promising early access.

Passing Marks and What the Scorecard Means

Under ICAI's Foundation examination rules, candidates must secure at least 40% in each of the four papers and 50% overall in a single sitting to qualify. Those who clear the examination and meet the applicable eligibility requirements can register for the CA Intermediate course. Candidates who do not qualify must prepare for another Foundation attempt rather than assuming they can reappear in only one failed paper.

Once the ICAI CA Foundation Result 2026 is published, students should retain their downloaded scorecards and follow ICAI's instructions for the next stage. No September-session pass percentage or topper list had been officially released as of November 2.

What Candidates Should Do Before November 6

Candidates should keep their roll numbers and registration details ready, follow official ICAI announcements and avoid unverified result links circulating on Telegram or WhatsApp. The ICAI CA Foundation Result date remains November 6 unless the institute announces a change. Until the scores are officially published, students should treat the expected evening release as a timetable update—not a declaration of results.
