The last metro just got a little less stressful for Noida commuters!
If you have ever rushed out of work, skipped dinner plans or booked a cab because you thought the Aqua Line had stopped running, there is some good news. The Noida Metro has introduced a revised schedule from November 1, 2026, giving late-evening commuters more time to catch their train.
The biggest change? The last train from Sector 51 towards Depot Station now departs at 11:25 PM instead of 10 PM. That is an additional 85 minutes of service. The metro has also reduced the waiting time between trains during peak hours, making daily travel a little more convenient.
Here is everything commuters need to know about the new timings, train frequency and what has changed.
The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has revised the Aqua Line schedule to make travel more convenient, especially during busy hours and late evenings.
According to reports published by Hindustan Times and The Times of India, the revised schedule brings two major changes: a later last train from Sector 51 and shorter gaps between trains during peak hours.
| Service detail | Earlier schedule | Revised schedule |
| Last train from Sector 51 towards Depot Station | 10:00 PM | 11:25 PM |
| Peak-hour train frequency | Every 7 minutes 30 seconds | Every 6 minutes 35 seconds |
| First train, Monday to Saturday | 6:00 AM | No change |
| First train, Sunday | 8:00 AM | No change |
The peak-hour gap has reduced by 55 seconds. It may not sound like a big difference, but for people travelling during office rush hours, even a shorter wait can make the daily commute smoother.
Note: The 11:25 PM departure refers specifically to the Sector 51-to-Depot Station direction. Check station announcements for the latest direction-wise service information.
The schedule revision comes at a time when more people are using the Aqua Line. NMRC's ridership figures show that average daily passenger numbers rose from 73,298 in August 2026 to 83,403 in September 2026. That is an increase of around 13.8% in one month.
The line also recorded its highest-ever daily ridership of 1,05,358 passengers on October 23, 2026. These numbers point to growing demand for metro connectivity across Noida and Greater Noida.
NMRC has also reported a rise in average daily ridership following passenger-friendly improvements, including better connectivity and easier ticketing options.

The revised schedule is not the only improvement. NMRC has been working on several facilities to make the passenger experience better.
Passengers can use QR-based tickets and National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) facilities, reducing dependence on traditional ticket counters.
The skywalk connecting the Aqua Line's Sector 51 station with the Delhi Metro's Sector 52 station has made interchange easier. It offers a more convenient route for passengers switching between the two metro networks.
The skywalk opened to passengers on August 28, 2026, and was formally inaugurated on October 4. Reports have also linked the improved interchange facility with higher passenger movement on the Aqua Line.
NMRC is also consulting stakeholders to improve last-mile connectivity. The aim is to make it easier for commuters to reach metro stations and continue their journey after getting off the train.
The Aqua Line runs for approximately 29.7 km and has 21 stations, connecting Noida with Greater Noida. It is an important travel link for office-goers, students and residents across the two cities.
The stations are:
For commuters travelling between residential sectors, business hubs and educational institutions, the route offers an important alternative to road travel.
NMRC is also working towards expanding metro connectivity in the region. Three proposed extensions are expected to improve access to more residential and commercial areas.
These projects are at different stages of planning and development. Their timelines will depend on the required approvals and implementation process.
The revised schedule is good news, particularly for people who work late or need more flexibility while travelling. However, passengers should remember that the 11:25 PM timing currently confirmed in reports is for the train departing from Sector 51 towards Depot Station.
Also, while the new schedule has been reported as effective from November 1, the NMRC train timings webpage may not yet reflect all the revised details. It is best to check station announcements or NMRC updates before planning a very late journey.
