Nothing has officially launched the latest model NothingPhone 4B in India, introducing its new B-series with a focus on design, battery life and clean software.
The new phone marks the start of Nothing’s new “B” series, aimed at buyers who want the Nothing look and software experience without paying flagship-level prices. The company is positioning the device as a more accessible entry into the Nothing ecosystem, especially for younger users.
The official Nothing India page highlights the Phone 4B with a colourful unibody design, a 50MP main camera with 4K video, the Glyph Bar, Nothing OS with Essential AI tools and what the company calls its longest-lasting battery.
That makes the Phone 4B an interesting launch. It is not just another mid-range Android phone. It is Nothing trying to sell design, battery life, clean software and a different phone experience in one package.

The Phone 4B stands out because it combines a distinctive design, a larger India-specific battery and long-term software support instead of chasing flagship specifications.
The global version of the Nothing Phone 4B has a 5,200mAh battery, while the Indian version gets a larger 6,000mAh battery. That makes it the biggest battery ever used in a Nothing phone. The battery backup makes it ideal for streaming, gaming, travel and all-day productivity.
Nothing says the Indian variant uses Safe Cell Technology and is designed to retain 90% battery health even after 1,200 charging cycles.
The phone supports 33W charging. Reports also say it can charge from empty to full in around 80 minutes.
Nothing Phone 4B follows the brand’s design-first approach.
The phone uses a polycarbonate unibody and comes in White, Blue and Black colour options. The official product page also shows the White 8GB + 128GB variant with a Flipkart buying option.
The Verge reports that the Phone 4B has a plastic unibody design and an IP64 rating for dust and water protection.
Nothing has changed the lighting system on the back. The new Glyph Bar uses a grid of 45 mini-LEDs split across five squares. It can show visual updates for Uber rides, food deliveries, timers and battery charging. Users can also set custom light flashes for contacts and cricket score changes.
A 120Hz AMOLED display and Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 provide a smooth everyday experience for multitasking, entertainment and casual gaming.
Nothing has also added a vapour chamber cooling system to manage heat during longer gaming sessions. TOI reports support for up to 90fps on Battlegrounds Mobile India and 120fps on League of Legends: Wild Rift.
The 50MP OIS camera supports 4K video with dual-axis Optical Image Stabilisation. This should deliver dependable everyday photography, while the ultra-wide lens adds versatility.
Nothing phones also uses TrueLens Engine 4.0 and Ultra XDR mode co-developed with Google for image processing, according to TOI.
The Phone 4B ships with Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16. Nothing is also promising three major Android version updates and six years of security patches.
Economic Times reports that the Essential AI suite includes the Essential Key, Essential Voice, real-time translation support in more than 100 languages including Hindi, and other software features built into Nothing OS.
The Nothing 4B RCB Edition comes in a red colourway with Royal Challengers Bengaluru branding and collector-style packaging. It is the first official RCB smartphone collaboration, according to TOI.
The limited edition is available only in India through a special drop at Nothing’s flagship store in Bengaluru on July 7, 2026.

Before buying the Nothing Phone 4B, consumers should check a few things carefully.
Nothing Phone 4B will be available in India through both online and offline channels.
The standard White, Black and Blue variants will go on sale on Flipkart from July 14, 2026. The phone will also be available through major retail stores including Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales. Some reports suggest offline retail availability may begin from July 17, 2026, so buyers should check the final store date before visiting.
The official Nothing India product page currently redirects buyers to Flipkart for purchase.
For the limited Nothing Phone 4B RCB Edition, availability is different. This version is an India-exclusive limited drop and is available only through the special event at the Nothing Store Bengaluru on July 7, 2026.
Buyers should also check bank offers, exchange bonuses and stock availability before placing an order. The advertised ₹29,999 price is an effective launch price, so the final payable amount may change depending on the offer and exchange value.

Nothing Phone 4B makes sense for buyers who want a phone that looks different and still covers the basics well.
It may work well for students, young professionals, content watchers, casual gamers, social media users and people who want clean software with long battery life.
It also makes a good buy for someone who wants a phone with personality. The Glyph Bar, transparent-style design and Nothing OS give it a different feel.
Buyers looking for the fastest processor under ₹35,000 should compare more options before deciding.
The same goes for people who want the best camera phone in this price segment. The Phone 4B has a promising main camera, but it should be judged after reviews.
It may also not be the best choice for users who do not care about design, Glyph lights or Nothing’s software experience. If those things do not matter, other phones may offer stronger raw specifications for the same price.
Nothing is redefining the mid-range segment by focusing on identity rather than specifications alone. The India-exclusive battery and polished software show that the brand understands local priorities. The challenge now is convincing buyers that the overall experience justifies its premium pricing against aggressively specced rivals.
Nothing Phone 4B is one of the more interesting smartphone launches of July 2026.
It brings a 6,000mAh India-only battery, a refreshed Glyph Bar, a 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, Android 16-based Nothing OS 4.1 and a design that stands apart from regular mid-range phones.
The RCB Edition adds excitement, but the main story is still the India-focused battery and the price debate.
For now, Nothing has done enough to get attention. The next test is trust. Buyers will wait to see whether the battery, camera, software and performance live up to the promise.
If they do, Nothing 4B could become a strong option for people who want more than just another Android phone.
