CNG users across Delhi-NCR woke up to another fuel shock on Saturday as Indraprastha Gas Limited increased prices by ₹3.89 per kg. The latest cng price hike took effect at 6 am on August 29, 2026. In Delhi, CNG now costs ₹86.98 per kg, up from ₹83.09. Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) blamed elevated international liquefied natural gas prices and the growing cost of imported fuel.

The increase affects private CNG-car owners as well as thousands of auto-rickshaw, taxi and commercial-vehicle operators who depend on the fuel every day. It also marks the fifth increase in 2026.
