During a conversation with fellow contestant Qazi Touqeer, the Roadies winner, whose real name is Kushal Tanwar, said his marriage lasted around four-and-a-half to five months. He described the period as emotionally difficult and said the divorce was eventually completed in 2024.

The revelation also explains old wedding photographs that had circulated online while his reality-TV career was taking off. According to the contestant, he had not yet formally divorced when the pictures leaked, and tensions with his family were still ongoing at the time.

The personal conversation unfolded when Qazi Touqeer asked him about a difficult period in his life. Gullu said the experience was not a conventional breakup but still felt like heartbreak. According to him, early marriages remain common in his community and there was family pressure to settle down.
