Shri Narhari Amin is an Indian trader, industrialist, and politician from Gujarat affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was elected to the Rajya Sabha in June 2020 and is a member of various parliamentary committees including Finance, Railways, and others. Born on 5 June 1955 in Ahmedabad, Amin holds a B.Com. and LL.B. from Gujarat University. He previously served as Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat (1994) when affiliated with the Indian National Congress before joining the BJP in December 2012. He is founder and chairman of Ramky Group, former President of Gujarat Cricket Association, and was Vice-President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He serves on multiple parliamentary committees and is known for his work on finance, railways, and chemicals/fertilizers.
